| Working with the Italian Institute for Toy Safety, Moretti Compact S.p.A. has focused on the concept of quality, concentrating like no one before on the safety of its products and evaluating this safety with regard to its end users: children. One of the rooms in which children spend a great deal of time as they grow up is their bedroom and therefore, it is fundamentally important for this room both to be tailored to their needs and to be safe. In-depth knowledge of child behaviour, developed at the Italian Institute for Toy Safety, has made it possible for Moretti Compact to give their ranges not only an innovative sensitivity to quality and excellent design, but also to the specific problems of smaller users. Moretti Compact bedroom furniture has undergone all of the assessments necessary to ensure their safety in compliance with Italian, European and international standards; these assessments are performed by a team of experts in different areas from the Italian Institute for Toy Safety. These serve to identify every possible risk linked to the foreseeable use and misuse of the product and at the end of this assessment process, the specific tests are decided for the relevant products in order to certify their safety and to issue them with the "Safety Checked" mark. In the Institute's laboratories, Moretti Compact bedroom furniture has been subjected to physical and mechanical tests, chemical testing and highly specialist assessments to check, for example, the non-toxicity of their materials and finishes as well as to identify and exclude any possible hazards, such as trapping hands or other body parts, or "squashing" fingers during the foreseeable use and possible misuse of the furniture and its accessories. The presence of the Safety Checked mark means safety and reliability. |
